There were many strong performances at Grass Lake last night as the team competed against Grass Lake and Michigan Center.

Charlotte Roedema placed 3rd in the 200 meters, while Olivia Smoker earned 3rd in the 400 meters. Lauren Bulgrien had an impressive night, taking 2nd in both the 800 meters and long jump.

Ellie Swihart captured 1st place in the 1500 meters, and Gabbie DeLosSantos dominated with 1st-place finishes in both the 3200 meters and high jump. Emery Day also earned a 1st-place finish in the 200-meter hurdles.

The 4x200-meter relay team of Parker Brown, Lindee Smikowski, Charlotte Roedema, and Maddox Woolworth set a personal record while taking 1st place.

Yesterday the Hanover-Horton Middle School Boys Track team competed in our second conference meet at Grass Lake. The boys defeated Michigan Center 97 to 35 and Grass Lake 82 to 49. 
 
In the running events:
Blair was 2nd in the 70m
Mault and Zeiman took 1st and 2nd in the 100m
Britton was 2nd in the 200m and 1st in the 400m
Toteff won the 1600m
Jakubas and Jakubas went 1 and 2 in the 3200m
Pogel finished 1st in the 55mH
Henry, Pogel, Curey, and Mault won the 4x100m
Deloria, Zeffery, Bissell, and Elbert won the 4x200m
 
In field events:
Mault and Henry took 1st and 2nd in Shot
Toteff took 3rd in High Jump
Marshall was 1st in Pole Vault
Zeiman, Henry, and Pogel swept Long Jump
 
It was cool day yesterday but the team handled it great.

Next up, the team heads to the East Jackson Relays on Wednesday.
