The 15-8 Comets took on the 21-1 Grass Lake warriors in the District Semifinal.  The Warriors jumped ahead early in the first leading by as many as 6, but after taking the lead at 9-8 the Comets were able to fend off the pesky Warriors the rest of the game.  It was a gritty contest where the Comets biggest lead was 12, but the Warriors cut it down to 4 multiple times. The consistent team effort was what helped the Comets secure the victory by the score of 55-46 avenging their loss to the Warriors earlier in the season.  The Comets, now 16-8, will host Lumen Christi (20-3) on Friday in the District Championship at 7 pm.
