The boys cross country team won the Cascades Conference Championship outright on Wednesday narrowly edging out a tough Jonesville squad for first place. The team showed its depth with outstanding races by the entire team. Way to make Comet Nation proud!
Varsity Volleyball Champions at Spring Arbor University!
The varsity volleyball team won the championship on Saturday afternoon at Spring Arbor University! The team stayed hot with a victory in the finals over Western 25-11 and 25-18. Way to go ladies!

Girls XC Finishes Second at Meckley's Invite
Maisey Toteff led the way with a 1st place finish in 20:42. She was followed by Brynlee Swihart, who placed 9th in 23:42, and Holly Zantop, who ran a solid 24:29. The Comet girls finished 2nd overall as a team.
Boys XC Team Wins Meckley's Invitational!
Chad Tyson set the tone with a new personal record of 16:23. Cooper Flick added a strong 17:06, while Wyatt Hassenzahl crossed in 17:56. The Comet boys earned 1st place as a team, capping off an excellent season opener.

Varsity Softball (Finally) Finishes Makeup Game with MC!
Ava Smith collected three hits in four at bats, as Hanover-Horton Varsity Comets defeated Michigan Center Varsity 14-4 on Friday. Smith hit a solo home run to center field in the first inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the sixth inning.Hanover-Horton Varsity Comets scored eight runs in the third inning on the way to victory. The girls ended their regular season with a record of 4-4 and the boys, with their victories over these 2 teams, ended undefeated. Special shoutout to Maisey Toteff with her personal record in the 800m (2:27.66) earning her 10th place on our All-Time Hall of Fame. As they continue to battle back and forth with Colombia Central, they finished in a close second place just 3 strokes off the lead. Game 1: Grass Lake 17 - Hanover-Horton 4Ryley Manning hit a two run home run and Ava Smith led Hanover-Horton with two hits and two stolen bases, but the Comets fell short to returning state champion Grass Lake. Manning's home run came in the fourth inning. Amanda Ley struck out two from the circle. Game 2: Hanover-Horton 13 - Grass Lake 11After taking their lumps in game one, the Comets came out on top in game two with Ava Smith hitting a home run in the top of the sixth, and both Holly Zantop and Ryley Manning hitting back-to-back home runs in the top of the seventh to defeat Grass Lake. The Comets tallied 15 hits in the game, led by Smith and Zantop with three a piece. Brooklyn Biela and Zantop drove in three runs each, while Kendall Bevier and Biela each collected multiple hits. Bryn Biela also had a huge two RBI single early in the game. Amanda Ley got the win and struck out two batters from the circle.The Comets play next against Addison at home on Monday.&

Our girls competed on a rainy, cold night at Grass Lake. The girls’ 4×800 team—Emery, Holland, Lauren, and Gabbie—earned 3rd place. The shot put team of Elaina and Harlow also placed 3rd. Last night the Hanover-Horton Middle School Boys Track team competed at a very rainy Grass Lake Relays.
