On Dec 6th the Comets travelled to Homer to try to get back on track in the conference against the Trojans. The Comets started HOT by opening up the game 20-0. The Trojans were not going down without a fight as they battled back in the 2nd quarter cutting it to 28-22. After weathering the trojans storm the Comets were able to pull back away and fend them off the rest of the game. The Final score was 71-50 as the Comets moved to (1-1) in conference play.
The Comets were led by Luke Soper with 28 points (5 3's) 10 Rebounds and 7 assists, JJ Russ contributed 13 points and 6 rebounds and Brody Bially with 8 points off the bench.
