The Comets met the Panthers at the shot clock classic at SAU and dropped a close
battle by the score of 69-60. It was an up and down game for both teams, being tied at
the half and a 2 point game late in the 4 th , the Comets couldn’t manage to slow down
Westerns high powered offensive attack. The Comets were led by Luke Soper with 27
points and 16 rebounds, JJ Russ added 18 and 6 rebounds. Comets next action will be
after the New year as they travel to Napoleon in a conference battle.
