Last Friday, the boys wrestling team competed in the Cascades Conference.  The team finished 5th out of the 12 conference teams, with all six of our wrestlers scoring team points.  Sophomore Cayden Eddy and Junior Reed Matthews went 1-2 and scored team points for us.  Freshmen AJ Lusby finished 4th and Austyn Hocter was a runner up.  Senior Gavin Berkeypile also finished in 2nd place.  Junior AJ Fielder was our Cascades Conference Champion.  The girls competed on Saturday, at Toledo-Start, in a very tough tournament.  Sophomore Aleah Gillett finished 3-2 and brought home a 4th place finish and Senior Drew Swihart also went 3-2 and finished 5th.  The team starts the post season this Thursday, at Jonesville, for team districts.  Wrestling starts at 6pm.  The boys head to Dansville for individual districts on Saturday.  The girls head to Dundee on Sunday, for their individual districts.  Tickets to all these events can be found on Go Fan our our Facebook Page.
