The Comets started the year off with a great 48-0 win over the Springport Spartans. The Comets ground game was strong with a huge performance by the big guys on the line. We saw four different backs with rushing touchdowns throughout the night. Kolin Griffiths led the charge with 3 touchdowns and Nolan Arbuckle, Slade Feller and Brady Pond all picked up a touchdown as well. Devin Bevier was also able to get it done in the air with a 23 yard pass to Levi Bradley. The Comet defense held strong all night with standout performances from the entire defensive line. Eli Serafin kept special teams intact by making 6 of 7 extra point attempts. It was a great effort by the entire team around and an amazing night to be a Comet!
