Last night the Hanover Horton Middle School Cross Country teams competed at Addison in the first Cascades Conference West Jamboree. It was another hot day but they did great!

The Boys' team won with a combined score of 22. Everett Marshall finished first with a 12:52 for his first win of the season. Eli Jurasek took 2nd, Austin Toteff was 6th, Billy Curey finished 13th, Benson Wolf 16th, and Kegan Akers 23rd rounding out our scoring runners.

For the Girls' team, we took 2nd with 36 points. Ellie Swihart finished 1st with a 14:17 for her first Cross Country win. Harper Blanton was 10th, Lauren Bulgrein was 13th, Emery Day was 18th, Mikayla Burt was 39th, and Karlyanne Oneill was 47th for our scoring runners.

It was a great day for our runners and they all did amazing! we are looking forward to the Jackson Invitational on Friday at Ella Sharp Park for our next racing opportunity.
