Boys/Girls Middle School Cross Country vs. Multiple Opponents

On Friday, the Hanover Horton Middle School Cross Country teams competed at the Jackson Invitational, hosted by Jackson High School at Ella Sharp Park. It was a huge event with 263 runners in the boys' race and 186 for the girls' race.
In the boys' race Everett Marshall finished 7th with a Personal Record of 11:41.2 grabbing the only medal for the boys' team. Eli Jursasek and Billy Curey set their Season records while Carson Poegel, Nolan Liechty, and Oliver Pearson set their Personal Records.
On the girls' team, Ellie Swihart finished 7th with a Personal Record of 13:12. This was also the only medal for the Girls. Although Lauren Bulgrein, Emery Day, Harper Blanton, Mikayla Burt, and Karlyanne Oneill set their personal records too!
It turned out to be a great day for our teams in spite of the weather. We race again in 2 weeks at Jonesville for the second Cascades Conference Jamboree.
