The 7th grade girls’ basketball team bounced back in a big way from their loss Monday, to get their first win against Vandercook Lake. Quite a few Comets contributed to the 42 points to the Jayhawks’ 2. High scorers were Jordyn Tiffany and Bella Crabtree with 13 a piece. Kendall Bevier added 6 while both McKenna Owens and Georgia Addleman scored 4. Hadley Elbert also had a basket, too, along with tremendous hustle. Madison Beaton played a very physical game under the basket while Courtnee Ackley stole the ball 6 times. Kaylin Gorton also had 3 steals and an assist for the night.

Our 8th grade team had another well-balanced scoring night in a 40-6 win against the Jayhawks. An awesome night of defense with 26 steals and 24 rebounds - a fantastic game by everyone.

- Maisey Toteff had 9 points, 8 steals and 3 assists.
- Taylor Dick and Collins DeGlee each had 8 points, with Taylor also getting 8 steals.
- McKinzie Fox scored 7 points while Ava Smith had 6 points, 6 steals and 2 assists.
- Jaila Stephens had 2 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
- Carly Boyk hustled on offense and contributed 3 rebounds and a steal.
- Lainey Rudolph and Raina Jacobsen played awesome defense, were strong on rebounds and held their ground to help drive the team to victory!!!
