The seventh grade girls basketball team picked up their first win on the road tonight against Addison. The girls looked great right out of the gate and took a quick 17 to 0 lead in the first quarter. Hadley  Elbert had a fantastic game as the high scorer with 11 points that included a three-pointer. Bella Crabtree added in nine and Jordan Tiffany contributed six points. Georgia Adelman chipped in four points, and had many rebounds and even some assists. Kaylin Gorton helped with two points and two steals, and Kendall Bevier had a bucket, a rebound and an assist. Madison Beaton held her own on both ends of the court under the basket and was vital in breaking the Panthers’ press. McKenna Owens powered through some injuries and showed a lot of grit to help out her team. The final score was 34-5.  The team stays home on  Wednesday to host a tough Jonesville team at 4:30.

The 8th grade girls basketball team continued its win streak and moved to 3-0 with a 43-7 win against Addison on Monday.

The Comets continued with fantastic team play and strong defense. As a team the Comets had 18 steals, 27 rebounds and 10 assists.

- Ava Smith brought home 9 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
- Jaila Stephens had 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals.
- Maisey Toteoff had 8 points, 5 steals and 2 rebounds.
- Collins DeGlee had 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.
- Carly Boyk: 4 points and 2 rebounds.
- Lainey Rudolph: 2 points, 2 assists and 1 steal
- Taylor Dick with 1 steal, 1 assist and 2 rebounds.
- Ashlynn Manning with 2 steals, 1 assist and 1 rebound.
- McKinzie Fox: 2 pints, 1 steal, 1 rebound, 1 assist
- Raina Jacobsen: 3 rebounds and a steal.

The Comets take on a tough Jonesville team at home on Wednesday.
