Girls Middle School Basketball vs. Jonesville HS School

The seventh grade girls played a very good Jonesville squad tonight. Due to the total team effort, the ladies got their third win of the season, moving their record to three and one. Because of unselfish play,  many players had a chance to score and put up some very good stats. Bella Crabtree was a standout player with a double having 20 points and 12 rebounds. Kendall Bevier  had 12 points and five steals. Jordan Tiffany played stellar defense, stealing the ball seven times, pulling down four rebounds and getting five points. Despite going against taller players, McKenna Owens hustled and boxed out and pulled down four of her own rebounds. Kaylin Gordon was all over the court having two points, two assists,  one rebound and two seals. Madison Beaton continues to get tougher each game. Her strong defense allowed her to get two steals and  two rebounds. Georgia Adelman was not to be outdone on the boards; she had 12 rebounds, five steals and three points. Finally, Hadley Elbert had two of everything- points, assists, rebounds and steals. The final score was 44 to 28 for the Hanover win.

 

The 8th grade team remained STRONG, overcoming a tough defense. Our team NEVER lost their composure, and rose above the things that were out of our control. A total team effort for a 32-11 win.

- Ava Smith had 10 points along with five steals, rebounds, and blocks!
- Collins DeGlee scored 7 and had 5 assists and 4 steals.
- Jaila Stephens had 5 points and contributed rebounds a steal and a block.
- Taylor Dick had 3 steals and rebounds and an assist.
- Carly Boyk had 2 points, 1 rebound and 2 steals.
- Lainey Rudolph had 2 rebounds and STRONG  defense.
- McKinzie Fox had 4 points, 3 rebounds and two steals.
- Maisey Toteoff RAN that court and contributed 3 points and steals, and an assist and rebound.
- Ashlynn Manning and Raina Jacobsen each were tough on defense staying strong on jump balls and snagging rebounds.

The teams travel to Columbia Central for another tough conference matchup on Monday!
