The 7th grade girls basketball team played a very exciting game at Homer tonight. The girls came out looking for redemption. They had determination and unselfish play that gave them the lead in the first quarter and kept them neck and neck with the Trojans clear up to the end. The final score was 41- 44 in Homer’s favor. Every Comet showed up in the stats in this close game. Georgia Addleman had her best game yet recording a well earned double-double of 14 rebounds and 12 points as well as having multiple blocked shots!. Bella Crabtree had her 2nd double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Hadley Elbert was not to be out done on the boards as she pulled down 6 rebounds, had 4 crucial steals, and 2 assists. McKenna Owens was all business adding 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Jordyn Tiffany and Courtnee Ackley both put up 3 points each and had tallies in rebounds, steals, and assists. Kendall Bevier handled the ball under pressure and added 2 points of her own with 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal. Kaylin Gorton won every foot race and had 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Madison Beaton went toe to toe with her competitors and ripped down a vital rebound and kept her girl from scoring. The girls should be extremely proud of the way they played TOGETHER!
The 8th grade girls basketball team grabbed the win against Homer with a score of 39-13.
The Comets had 29 steals and snagged 32 rebounds in their second win against the Trojans.

- McKinzie Fox had 8 points, strong defense, 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
- Ava Smith had 8 points, 6 steals, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks.
- Taylor Dick scored 6, had 4 rebounds, 4 steals and an assist.
- Raina Jacobson played strong defense, snagged a rebound and denied the Trojans’ offense.
