The 7th & 8th grade girls basketball teams traveled to Vandercook Lake this evening and came away with two wins!!!! 

For 7th grade, teamwork and great passing were the stars of the game and helped the Comets win 37 to 17.  

The victory improves their record to 4-3. 

- Madison Beaton scored 2 points and ripped down 2 rebounds in addition to always being in good position on both ends of the court.  

- Bella Crabtree had her 3rd double-double with 12 rebounds and 14 points. She also added 2 blocks, an assist, and 2 steals. 

- Kendall Bevier proved to be tough to stop and put up 12 points, with 5 rebounds and 2 steals. 

- Courtnee Ackley showed no fear as she drove to the hoop to score 4 points. She also hustled to get 8 rebounds and an assist. 

- MaKenna Owens was a fierce defender and added 2 points with 4 rebounds and a steal. 

- Hadley Elbert played many different positions tonight, showing her versatility and scored 3, pulled down 6 boards and stole the ball 3 times. 

- Kaylin Gorton had incredible court vision giving 2 assists and adding 3 steals and 5 rebounds.

The 8th grade girls basketball team owned the court against Vandercook Lake and came away with a 59-0 win. A tremendous team effort with incredible hustle and execution. They improve their record to 6-1.

- Ashlynn Manning: 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 rebound, 2 points

- Jaila Stephens, 1 assist, 3 points

- Carly Boyk: 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 rebounds, 2 points

- Collins DeGlee: 2 steals, 2 rebounds, 11 points

- Lainey Rudolph: 1 steal and fantastic passes. 

- Taylor Dick: 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 6 points

- Maisey Toteoff, 3 steals, 1 assist, 11 points

- Raina Jacobson: 4 rebounds and strong defense

- McKinzie Fox: 1 rebound, 3 steals, 9 points

- Ava Smith: 1 assist, 1 rebound, 4 steals, 14 points

The girls will be home against Addison on Wednesday. 7th grade is 4:30 and 8th grade @ 5:30!
