The 8th grade basketball team played a complete all around game last night to defeat Leslie 49-20. The team moved the ball well and created scoring opportunities for their teammates as all eleven players scored in the contest. That brings their record to 5-0 on the season. Come support the team Wednesday as they play East Jackson at home.
The 7th grade boys traveled to Leslie last night to take on the Black Hawks. The game was a battle from tip off to the final whistle. Good scoring output from several players and solid defense led to an outstanding performance. Unfortunately the Comets came out the short end of a 36-35 final. Several players had outstanding efforts and hope to use the momentum when they take on East Jackson back home on Wednesday. See you there.
