The boys Varsity squad consisting of Jaxon Hart, Cooper Donders, Grant Cure, Noah DeKamp, Joe Davis, Cam Smith, Gabe O Connor and Elias Wykoff took on the Cardinals of Michigan Center in  Ten Pin action and were led by Joe Davis 190-169, Noah DeKamp 222-218=440 (new Pr for series and game), Gabe Oconnor with a PR of 157, and Grant Cure 142. The Comets got out to a commanding lead with the engine firing on all cylinders in bakers with Team PRs of 186-228 to give them a 10-0 lead….however the engines went idle in the regular games only securing 4  pts out the the last 20 available ….losing  a heart breaker 14-16   Their record is now 1-8. Their next match is Friday, January 19h versus Vandercook Lake at Jax60 3pm.

The Lady Comet Bowlers of Hanover-Horton took on the Michigan Center Cardinals Tuesday. The team consisted of Charlie Worden, Arianna Uhl, Brooke Hadley, Abby, Barba, Sophie Donders and Liz Curry. The Lady Comets started strong in the bakers, achieving an above average 145 game. Though they had fallen short of Center, they came back again and repeated with a 146 game beating Center's 111. This set of 291 is a new season best baker series for the Comets! Great job, ladies! Going into the regular games, the Comets were up 6-4. In the regular games, the Lady Comets stayed focused and gave a great effort, but were unable to get in the rhythm to string some marks together. They were led by Sophie Donders 121 and 149 (270 series), Arianna Uhl 123 (224 Series) and Abby Barba 122 (222 series). The match resulted in the Comets getting defeated by the Cardinals 23-7. Their record is now 4‐5. They will next take on the Jayhawks of Vandercook on Friday, January 19.
