The Lady Comet Bowlers consisting of Charlie Worden, Arianna Uhl, Brooke Hadley, Abby Barba and Sophie Donders bowled in a doubleheader Sunday against Napoleon and Grass Lake.

In the first match against Napoleon, the team was led by Sophie Donders 151 and 157 (308 series), Abby Barba 131 and 134 (265 series) and Charlie Worden 116 (217 series). The Comets won, 28-2.

In the second match, the Lady Comets took on the Warriors of Grass Lake for the second time this season. During their first baker, while the ladies started strong scoring more than 20 pins above their average with a 142 game, they fell short of Grass Lake by 45 pins. In a similar way, the Warriors lead the second baker giving them a 10 point advantage going into the regular games. In the regular games, the Comets were led by Sophie Donders 140 and 187 (327 series), Abby Barba 136 and 134 (270 series) and Charlie Worden with a new season best 129 game (241 series). The final score had the Warriors on top 29-1.

The team's record after the doubleheader is 4-4. The Lady Comets will take on Michigan Center at Jax 60 on Tuesday, January 16th.
