The Comets of Hanover-Horton took on the Blackhawks of Leslie Thursday. The team consisted of Joe Davis, Noah Dekamp, Grant Cure, Cameron Smith, Gabe O'Connor and Cooper Donders. The gentlemen, started the match working on adapting to themselves to the City Limits version of the Phantom II pattern. They were able to take the first baker by 23 pins. In the second baker, they started strong with some marks early and through the middle of the game helping them to secure the second baker. This gave them a 10-0 lead. In the regular games, the boys had to keep digging and adapting to the changing lane conditions. They were able to secure a couple individual points and totals to win the match. The boys were led by Joe Davis 192 and 182 ( 374 series), Grant Cure 129 and 126 (255 series) and Noah Dekamp 127 (251 series). The 26-4 win put the Comets at a record of 3-9. They next take on Manchester for the second time this season on Friday at Jax 60.
There was not a girls match with Leslie.
