JONESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The Comets won 35-6 with an explosive second half. It was a very close first half with Kolin Griffiths scoring the first touchdown behind blocking from Connor Willbee and Brody Burt. Nolan Arbuckle was the next to score with a gutsy run up the middle following Holt Dawson and Killian Moore. The Comets went into halftime up only 14-6 and came out in the second half with shut down defense and great special teams. Blake Cogan recovered a kick with the help from Kolin Griffiths to start the second half off strong. Nolan Arbuckle would end up scoring two more times for a total of three touchdowns on the day and Kolin Griffiths would pick up his second as well. Eli Serafin was perfect on extra points and Garrett Frost helped run the clock out with a big run to finish the game.
