Varsity Post: 

Hanover Horton traveled to Homer on Tuesday night. The Lady Comets battled hard against Homer taking the game to 5 sets. The girls battled through long rallies and didn't give up without a fight. The Lady Comets fell short in the 5th set (25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 19-25, and 17-19). Junior, Chelsea Russ dominated the court, leading the Comets with 25 kills, 16 digs, 2 blocks, and going 14 for 14 at the service line with 4 aces. Morgan Kuhl had 16 kills and 8 blocks. Hadlie Barber went 18 for 18 at the service line with 2 aces and led the Comets in digs with 21. Natalee Krage went 16 for 16 at the service line with 1 ace, 3 blocks, 10 digs, and 44 assists. The Comets will travel to Grass Lake on Thursday.

Molly Soper led the Comets going 14/14 at the service line with 6 aces, 6 digs, 6 assists, and 3 kills. Maggie Soper went 13 for 15 at the service line with 5 aces, 3 kills, and 2 digs. Quinn Knoblauch contributed 3 kills, 3 digs, and 4 assists. The Comets will travel to Grass Lake on Thursday.
