The Hanover Horton Middle School Cross Country teams competed at the MHSAA Zone 2 regional this past weekend, hosted by Hudson. It was a great day to race and it showed.

The girls' team unfortunately wasn't counted for team scores with only having 4 runners Saturday. Ellie Swihart finished 3rd overall with a time of 12:56.42. Lauren Bulgrien was 36th, Emery Day 48th, and Harper Blanton was 55th. They did amazing and we look forward to having all runners returning for next year!

The boys' team repeated their Regional win from last year, winning the Small School division. Everett Marshall  led the team, finishing 9th with an 11:40.26. Eli Jurasek finished 13th, Jase Herendeen 27th, Austin Toteff 30th, and Carson Poegel 50th with a Personal Best. Benson Wolf, Keegan Akers, Billy Curey, and Judah Curtis also set their personal bests.

This has been a great year for our teams and they have all improved a lot! We are looking forward to see what next year brings. Don't forget to sign up for track & field in the spring!
