The Hanover Horton JV Volleyball team traveled to Onsted on Saturday for the Onsted JV Tournament where they took home 1st place in the Gold Bracket. The JV Lady Comets took first out of 11 teams in pool play defeating Quincy (25-8, 25-8), Jonesville (25-11, 25-12 ), and Onsted (25-10, 25-20).  Hanover Horton faced Jonesville in the quarterfinals and won 25-10, 25-17 then they faced Onsted in the Semi-finals and won (25-12, 25-20). In the finals, Hanover Horton beat Madison (25-9, 25-10). The Lady JV Comets fought long and hard throughout the day with resilience and passion. Molly Soper led the Comets for the day with 38 digs, 55 assists, 17 kills, and she went 72 for 76 at the service line with 12 aces. Maggie Soper led with 33 kills, 4 blocks, 23 digs, and she went 45 for 49 at the service line with 17 aces. Maddie Jordon contributed 26 kills and 32 digs for the day. Quinn Knoblauch had 24 digs, 41 assists, and 22 kills.
